I have recently joined a bunch of clubs: Working Mothers; The Middle-Aged; Parent of Teenagers (which automatically enters me into the Club of Old-Fashioned Know No
things); and because my husband recently became a full-time magician, I've joined The Club of the Self-Employed (which really means The Terminally Poor But With Great Hopes Club - thank heavens I have my job, though it doesn't quite pay the bills). Unfortunately I have also joined The Grief Stricken Club since my parents recently passed away within 17 months of each other. That's the worst club to be a part of, although I really don't feel part of a club, I feel very much alone.

Even though I miss my parents terribly, I know I'll see them again. That knowledge keeps me going. Other than that, I am fairly happy with my lot in life. I have a happy marriage, great kids, wonderful sisters and lots of family support. I have a good ward for additional spiritual support. All of that helps me get through the tough times. I'm grateful for my blessings.
